What airport should I fly into?
Hobby (HOU) is a smaller, closer airport with fewer gates. But, has fewer flight options (not all airlines fly in and out). Bush (IAH) is the complete opposite. It’s much larger and further out but has all the flight options. The area where the festivities will be held is centrally located in the city. You’ll be about a 20 to 30-minute ride from either airport without traffic…But, you know, it is Houston, so there’s ALWAYS traffic. If you plan to Uber from the airport, expect to pay anywhere from $40-$75 one way.

Where should I stay?
If you want to be conveniently located (especially if you will not have a vehicle while here), the Heights is your best option. Other areas nearby are:
- The Galleria area
- Downtown Houston
- Eado (East Downtown)
- Midtown Houston
- Montrose
Do NOT stay anywhere that ends in LAND!!! Pearland, Sugarland, the Woodlands…Don’t do it!! It’s FAR!!!
