Hi Hannah! I'm so glad this was helpful! As far as neighborhoods, it depends on what you're looking for. In Centro, you will find more of the colonial-style homes, old Merida. Santa Ana, Santiago, Santa Lucia are some of my favorite areas in Centro. If you're looking for more of a modern vibe with things like Costco, upscale eateries etc, North Merida and neighborhoods like Montebello and Benito Juarez may be a better fit. You can also check out my friends Native Nomads. They have an amazing neighborhood guide of Merida that may be useful https://nativenomadlife.com/merida-neighborhood-map-project/

Your blogs are so helpful. I’m glad Pinterest brought me to you. Are there specific neighborhoods you’d recommend? The heat has me wanting a pool. This coworking post definitely is getting bookmarked. Do you find speeds higher than 10mbps down there?
