I was born and raised in GA and Helen was always a favorite trip. It’s like being in another country but with no passport required lol. I also love Stone Mountain GA, it’s another cute little town. They have an incredible German restaurant/bakery/tavern/brewery there. Some of the best German food I’ve had. There are so many amazing things to explore close to home and it’s the perfect way to travel for those on a budget.
